This year, due to the COVID-19 crisis the Global Green Destinations Days (GGDD) will be hosted online, giving Green Destinations the rare opportunity to connect business and destination leaders, managers and experts committed to sustainable tourism, from all the continents. During the GGDD20, good practice stories from destinations will be presented and our Sustainable Top 100 Destinations of 2020 will be revealed.

Present in GGDD 2020

As GGDD is a platform for connecting sustainability professionals, destinations, and tourism boards in order to support peer to peer learning and finding sustainable solutions for destinations, we have launched the mission to collect stories coping with the COVID-19 crisis and initiatives for restarting tourism.

What are we learning from this crisis? How to prepare for the reopening of destinations? How to adapt to changed tourist behaviour? How is this crisis making your destination become more sustainable?

If you are interested in participating or collaborating, please look at the presentation call and contact us at
