Nature, Culture and Overtourism

Even though a worldwide pandemic has put overtourism on hold the phenomenon is not forgiven nor forgotten. Destinations have gained time to reflect on their pre-pandemic tourism strategies and the way they impacted their natural and cultural heritage. Let’s discuss the initiatives in preventing overtourism, diversification, adjusting tourism strategies while preserving or restoring the authenticity of the destinations and offering tourists and residents high-quality experiences.
