HOW TO USE THE SHOP?

1. Apply your waiver code

Apply first your waiver code (if you have received one from the organizers):

  • Copy-paste the code and then press enter.
  • Codes are unique, only applicable to one person. If you register multiple people, each one must have received their own waiver code.
  • If you have submitted a good practice story and still waiting for an answer regarding waivers, please don’t use this platform yet.

2. Choose your conference passes

Add here:

  • 1 day in Zagreb (Oct 9)
  • 2 days in Mali Lošinj (Oct 10-11, without transfers)
  • 2 days in Mali Lošinj (With transfers from Zagreb to Mali Lošinj on Oct 10)

You can select only one product or make a combination of two (if you wish to attend the three conference days).

3. Add activities & Transfers

Add here the:

  • GD Gala dinner
  • Airport transfers (From Zagreb’s airport to City Center)
  • Plitvice Field Trip

Bear in mind that some activities are available under invitation only and cannot be purchased on this page: the GD Partners Training Day, the Global Leaders Dinner Meeting and the Top 100 & GD Awards Ceremony.

4. Choose your accommodation

For GGDD19 attendees, we have allocated 2 accommodation special rates in:

  • Hotel Hilton Garden Inn. To view Zagreb accommodation, select from 7 or 8 -10 October.
  • Hotel Bellevue. To view Mali Lošinj accommodation, select 10-12 October.

To book accommodation in both cities, make 2 separate bookings for the appropriate dates.

5. Enter your payment info

You can pay either by Debit / Credit Card or by Bank Transfer, after payment you will receive an invoice.

If you register as a company and would like a VAT exemption, please include your VAT number before checkout.

***) Conference fees can be waived to Green Destinations, Top 100 representatives or businesses that submit a Good Practice Story. The number of waivers is limited to 80. Priority will be given to GD Global Leaders, GD representatives, and GD Partners as well as to Top 100 destinations:

  • that participate in a certification program using the Green Destinations Standard (incl. QualityCoast, Slovenia Green, Ecotourism Australia);
  • whose Good practice story is selected for presentation (orally or as a poster) for the ITB Destination Awards competition.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When will the conference take place? Where is it located? The conference will take place in two cities: Zagreb, (8-9 Oct) at the Hilton Garden Hotel, and in Mali Lošinj (10-11 Oct)  at the Bellevue Hotel.
I only want to attend one day of the conference, is that possible? Yes, it’s possible to attend for one day, only in Zagreb. If you wish to attend only one day in Mali Lošinj you can do it, however, this won’t affect the determined price for the two days.
I  just want to attend one session.  Is that possible to do without registering for the conference? No, the minimum attendance to the conference is one day.
I’m a speaker – is there a PowerPoint template I should be using? Yes, if you haven’t received  the template already, please contact our team at events@greendestinations.org  
Is there funding available to help with travel/accommodation costs? No, travel and accommodation expenses must be paid by the participant. 
My question is not listed here. Whom do I contact? If you have doubts about the event, registration, waiver eligibility,  you can contact our team at events@greendestinations.org 

I am an overseas participant and need a letter of invitation before I can receive my visa. What is the procedure? Please select ‘This participant requires an official letter of invitation for Visa purposes’ when you are adding the participant information. Our team, will contact you to your email address and send you the letter. 
Am I eligible for a waiver code?  For selected delegates, the Conference registration fee can be discounted or waived, but the number of waivers is limited. Priority will be given to GD reps and Top 100 destinations that:

  • participate in a certification program using the GSTC-Recognised Green Destinations Standard;
  • That submit a Good Practice Story before August 16th, and this is selected for presentation (orally or as a poster) for the ITB Destination Awards competition.
How do I add additional activities after my registration?  Registration should be made in one process, however additional items can be included after. If you forgot to book a product, please send us an email at events@greendestinations.org  and ana.skolan@globtour.hr   
What is the deadline for registrations? The deadline for registration is on September 23. Please book all your activities before this date.
Why are some activities on the program not available in the registration form? Some activities such as the GD Partners Training Day, Oct 8, the Global Leaders Dinner meeting, Oct 8 and the Top 100 & GD Awards Ceremony, Oct 10 are private and require an invitation from the event organizers. Payments for these activities will de done via a separate platform. How can I reserve a hotel room, and what are the rates? If you are interested in accommodation, please create your Package by clicking Accommodation on the Registration form and select arrival and departure dates.
Are there more hotels than the ones shown here? The Hilton Hotel in Zagreb and the Bellevue Hotel in Mali Lošinj, are the only hotels on this website since these offer special rates for the GGDD19 attendees. However, this is optional, you can always arrange accommodation for yourself.
What is a proforma invoice?  This proforma invoice is the official proof of your intention to register for this event. Please check the expiry date on your proforma invoice. If you do not finalize the payment by that time, your registration will be revoked and considered invalid.

Please double check if information displayed on the proforma invoice is correct. After the payment is completed and the invoice has been issued, any changes will be subject to organizer’s Terms and Conditions.

I received the invoice, what should I do next? After we have confirmed the payment you will receive an email with your ticket(s) that you need to show at registration desk.

Bank transfer details will also be sent to your email. Please note that it takes approximately 3 to 7 business days to process your bank transfer.

If the email doesn’t appear shortly, please be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder.

My invoice says Globtour and Eventify and not Green Destinations, is this ok? This is correct, Globtour is the event organizer of the event, and are in charge of receiving the conference payments. Eventrify is the platform they use to receive payments.
How to order business invoice (for my company) ? If you want to invoice your company for conference registration, please select Company account as Account type. Remember to add your VAT number if needed.

I am having issues paying with my credit card If you experienced issues using your credit card, please call your bank and ask if your card can be used abroad and if you have daily spending limits on your card.

You can also try to use another credit card.

I added a transfer, when will I be contacted?  You will be contacted by the reps of Globtour Event (Our event management company in Croatia) after your registration to confirm the day of your transfer and your transfer time.
